For a “free range kids” experience full of fun have your party here.  Options available for venue hire or we can provide party packs and arrange your party for you to suit your budget. Our play center is open daily from 9h30 – 16h30 where the kids can have total fun including pony rides. Entrance is free.  Tuck shop available and light meals served.  Novelty cakes, cupcakes and biscuits are available to order according to your requirements. We can also cater for stork parties, small events and small weddings. 

Boot camp / bicycle track

The BOOTCAMP is based under trees and in nature.  There is a section undercover for the children to sit at a table with benches.  There is also an area for the adults to sit.  It is essential that children wear old clothes, bring a towel to shower off as well as an extra set of clothes.  We recommend that children be 7 years or older to attend the boot camp and are able to listen to instructions especially regarding safety and fire. The children will be under supervision to guide them through the obstacle course and tug of war.  We will also provide a pit fire where they can braai marshmellows or mini cheese grillers on sticks. Cheesegrillers\vieannas are recommended as it does not take too long and just needs to be warmed. Paintball : Will only be used under supervision and at the target range (there is no free range shooting allowed).   The BICYCLE TRACK is separate section and has a small track under and between the trees with a small open section.  The setup for the party will take place at the bootcamp section where there is a long table and benches.  There is chairs and tables for adults as well.  Children need to bring their own bicycles and helmets.  Children will be able to play on obstacle course equipment but no water is allowed on slides and in the mud and no fire.   There is no age limit.

We have two party options to choose from

OPTION 1
You provide your own party packs.  An urn will be provided, tablecloths as well as décor. Please bring your own paper plates and serviettes.
OPTION 2
Party packs are included. An urn will be provided, tablecloths as well as décor.

Party pack comes in a white box or bag with themed sticker and consists of small packet chips or puff corn, 2 fizzers, roll of sweets, smarties, juice and ice cream, fruit chews (may vary) and popcorn on the tables with a oros sip juice with label.

Cheesegrillers and marshmellows provided for the bootcamp. White paper plates and serviettes will be provided.

Should you wish us to quote on any other food we will be happy to do so. Parents we will be happy to decorate and set up for you provided that you let us have the decorations the day before. You may come 30min before to set up.

Should you wish to use our venue we require a non refundable deposit payable within 48 hours to confirm your booking.

QUESTIONS & SAFETY

Rainy Day?
Should it rain the party will continue with loads of mud. We will stop should there be lightening and you would be able to re-schedule on the day.  All ordered cooked meals will not be refundable and can be collected.
When will we need final numbers?
It is important for us should we be providing the party packs to have the numbers the Tuesday before the party to order labels, etc. Should extra recruits arrive on the day they will be charged and are not guaranteed a label on their party bag.
What about younger children?
Should younger siblings and other children arrive they are more than welcome to run around but will not be permitted to do the obstacle course. A jumping castle can be hired (outside) and a R50 electricity fee will be charged.
What is the dress code for the obstacle course?
Recruits must wear old clothes as they will be going through mud, sunscreen or raincoat if required and old takkies. No slip slops. It is advisable to bring a towel for them to shower under the tree and spare clothes especially for the cooler days.
Can paintball be played?
Only target shooting will be arranged for paintball if needed. No free range shooting at each other as this is sore if hit as well as may cause bruising and or open skin.
What provisions are there for the adults?
The fire pit will be arranged for every party unless you are not requiring same. If the parents feel like having a “chop ‘n dop” please feel free to bring it along extra wood or charcoal.
Is there supervision for the children?
Children will be supervised to ensure safety and have loads of fun.
Safety provisions
Although full consideration is taken to avoid accidents and injuries, due to the outdoor and physical nature of the activities please be aware that accidents can happen. A First Aid Kit is on hand.

No unsupervised use of facilities is permitted at any time without a member of an instructor.

Kiddie Parties 

We would like the children to have a “free range kids” experience and lots of fun with ample playground equipment including trampoline, jungle gyms, boat, castle with draw bridge, sandpit, playhouse and swings.

We have two party options to choose from

OPTION 1

We have an undercover area that you hire including kiddies tables and chairs including covers and tablecloths, and use of urn.  Parents to own party packs, paper plates and serviettes.   You are more than welcome to bring your own food, drinks, etc.  We can provide a portable braai should you need one.   One pony ride included.  Should you choose this option you can choose from extras.  The décor of your theme will be provided by us except for helium balloons if needed.  YOU CAN ARRIVE FROM 14h00 TO SETUP FOR THE AFTERNOON PARTY

OPTION 2

We have an undercover area that you hire including kiddies and adult table, chairs and table cloths and use of urn. Includes one pony ride and party packs for 10 children.   Party pack comes in a box with themed sticker and consists of small packet chips or puff corn, 2 fizzers, roll of sweets, smarties, juice and ice cream, fruit chews (may vary) and popcorn on the tables.  We do and provide all the décor for the theme except for helium balloons. YOU CAN ARRIVE FROM  14h00 TO SETUP FOR THE AFTERNOON PARTY

Babyshower

We have an undercover area that you hire including tables and chairs.  We will decorate according to your theme and include tablecloths and use of urn.  You are more than welcome to bring extra décor, food and drinks.  Should you wish to have a braai we are able to supply a portable braai and grid.  Should you wish us to provide the food etc and you don’t find same on the list please let us know so are able to quote.

PARTY VENUE HIRE

Self catering units

The unit is fully equipped and sleeps 6 and a sleeper couch for an extra person. Bedding and towels are supplied. 3 Spacious bedrooms, one with a balcony overlooking the dam.

BOOTCAMP & BICYCLE TRACK

The BOOTCAMP – Fun obstacle course and tug of war. Pit fire to braai marshmellows afterwards. The BICYCLE TRACK – is a separate section and has a small track under and between the trees.
